What is a height measurement sensor?
The role of the body height sensor is to convert the body height (the position of the vehicle suspension device) into an electrical signal to the suspension ECU. The number of altitude sensors is related to the type of electronically controlled air suspension system installed on the vehicle. One end of the height sensor is connected to the frame and the other end is attached to the suspension system.
On the air suspension, the height sensor is used to collect the height information of the body. On some ride comfort control systems, height sensors are also used to detect suspension motion to determine whether hard damping is required.
The body height sensor can be analog or digital; It can be linear displacement, it can be angular displacement.
