Booster pump oil pot
Tools to use: wire cutters, 10mm socket wrench, syringe (150ml, bought last time to replace brake oil, cheap and practical), utility knife (cut mineral water bottles).
Two jacks. Only one will do. We need a rock.
Just push the front wheels up and the tires off the ground.
The bottom black cap round is the steering power pot, the lower part of the oil pot is connected to two pipes, the above thick pipe is the booster pump into the oil pipe, the internal structure of the oil pot into the oil pipe inlet is filtered by the filter screen, the following is a little thinner is the return pipe, the oil is not filtered, otherwise there are impurities in the oil in the steering machine, first use the syringe to pull out the old oil, can be pumped as far as possible.
Change a thin tube can still pump a little, do not poke the tube hard, careful to break the filter.
Remove the screws that hold the oil pot
Clamp into the oil pipe, return the oil pipe clamp, cut a plastic bottle ready to receive oil.
Pull out the inlet pipe, and then pull out the return pipe after no oil flow out.
And there's more old oil than a syringe can drain.
Find a large capacity plastic bottle (1 liter is the best), put the oil return hose into the bottle, the inlet pipe is best covered with paper towels or cloth, to avoid dust, but not tightly blocked. Enter the cab, turn the ignition switch to ACC (no power can not move the steering wheel), left and right to play the wheel to death, a few times into the oil pipe inside the residual old oil flow is gone, continue to play the wheel more than 20 times, until the oil return pipe does not come out.
After draining the old oil, plug the inlet pipe and return pipe.
After the old oil precipitates, the old oil can be filled with strong shaking, flushing the oil pot to discharge impurities, repeated three or four times, basically clean, to twist the lid to pour oil, otherwise the impurities are difficult to discharge.
Next, prepare to flush the pipeline with new oil. After washing the oil pot, use a rubber plug to plug the oil return port.
Plug the oil return port under the oil pot, and do not plug the oil inlet port.
Connect the oil can to the inlet line, don't plug it in place, just plug it in a little bit, twist a screw to hold it in place.
Cut the funnel is very easy to use, fill the new oil to the oil level line, about 200 ml, do not worry about not enough oil behind. Enter the cab again, turn the ignition switch to ACC, and hit the wheel left and right until the oil in the oil pot is reduced to the minimum, and no oil comes out of the return pipe, and the pipeline flushing is completed.
Finally, the pipe is connected, the tube hoop is reset, the oil can is fixed, the new oil is injected, the steering wheel is continued, and the oil level is reduced. Start the engine, continue to turn the direction, observe whether the oil level has dropped, if so, fill the position close to the oil level line.
