How the Booster pump works
The booster pump is filled with liquid first, and then the centrifugal pump is started. The impeller rotates rapidly, and the blade of the impeller drives the liquid to rotate. When the liquid rotates, it flows to the outer edge of the impeller by inertia. At the same time, the impeller absorbs liquid from the suction chamber. In turn, the blade acts on the liquid with a force equal to and opposite to the lift force, and this force does work on the liquid, so that the liquid gets energy and flows out of the impeller, and the kinetic energy and pressure energy of the liquid increase.
The working principle of the gas-liquid booster pump is similar to that of the pressure booster, which exerts a very low pressure on the large-diameter air-driven piston, and produces a high pressure when this pressure acts on a small area piston. Continuous operation of the booster pump can be achieved through a two-position five-vent control reversing valve. The high pressure plunger controlled by the check valve continuously drains the liquid, and the outlet pressure of the booster pump is related to the air driving pressure. When the pressure between the driving part and the output liquid part reaches a balance, the booster pump will stop running and no longer consume air. When the output pressure drops or the air drive pressure increases, the booster pump will automatically start and run until the pressure balance is reached again. The automatic reciprocating movement of the pump is realized by using a single air control non-balanced gas distribution valve, and the gas drive part of the pump body is made of aluminum alloy. The liquid part is made of carbon steel or stainless steel according to the different medium. Generally, the pump has two inlet and exhaust ports, and the air inlet can produce a pressure lower than normal pressure (that is, atmospheric pressure) called "negative pressure"; At the exhaust port can produce higher than normal pressure called "positive pressure"; For example, the often said vacuum pump is a negative pressure pump, and the booster pump is a positive pressure pump. Positive pressure pumps are very different from negative pressure pumps. For example, the gas flow direction, the negative pressure pump is the external gas is sucked into the exhaust nozzle; Positive pressure is sprayed out of the exhaust nozzle; Such as the level of air pressure.
