After crankshaft oil seal seepage oil, it does not matter? I heard it's a common disease, repair also useless? Isn't it?
1. It is not recommended to replace if you really want to toss about, change the oil seal and glue again;
2 in fact, it is not serious, you do not need to close, crankcase oil leakage this is a common disease, too much.
3. The engine assembly needs to be replaced during replacement, and the replaced engine assembly must be second-hand, which is the industry rule. The replaced engine is returned to the production line for refurbishment and inspection, and is specially used for maintenance.
Reasons for oil seepage of crankshaft rear oil seal
1. The crankshaft oil seal does not use non-petroleum-based lubricants in the pressing assembly process, which leads to the oil seal loosening or even falling off after the engine is used for a period of time (for example, some engine manufacturers use oil to replace relatively high price non-petroleum-based lubricants in order to reduce manufacturing costs);
2. The parallelism of the oil seal pressing face to the installation surface of the oil seal seat does not meet the technical requirements of the assembly drawings, which makes the stress and deformation of the lip of the oil seal uneven. After the engine is used for a period of time, the lip deformation of the oil seal or even the whole oil seal distortion causes damage to the oil seal and oil leakage.
3. The engine has a long service life, and cracks occur at the lip of the natural aging oil seal, leading to oil leakage.
