Macpherson type independent suspension
McPherson type independent suspension is composed of shock absorber, coil spring, lower swing arm, transverse stabilizer bar and so on. The shock absorber is integrated with the coil spring set outside it to form the elastic pillar of the suspension. The upper end is flexibly connected with the body, that is, the pillar can swing around the fulcrum. The lower end of the strut is rigidly connected to the steering knuckle. The outer end of the hem arm is connected to the lower part of the steering knuckle by a ball pin, and the inner end is hinged to the body. Most of the lateral force on the wheel is borne by the swing arm through the steering knuckle, and the rest is borne by the shock absorber.
