The knuckle is the hinge on which the wheel turns, usually in the shape of a fork. The upper and lower forks have two homing holes for the kingpin, and the knuckle journal is used to mount the wheel. The two lugs of the pin holes in the steering knuckle are connected to the fist shaped part at both ends of the front axle through the kingpin, allowing the front wheel to deflect the kingpin at an Angle to steer the car. To reduce wear, a bronze bushing is pressed into the knuckle pin hole, and lubrication of the bushing is lubricated with grease injected into the nozzle mounted on the knuckle. In order to make the steering flexible, bearings are arranged between the lower lug of the steering knuckle and the fist part of the front axle. An adjustment gasket is also provided between the ear and the fist part of the steering knuckle to adjust the gap between them.
