How does the automobile vacuum pump work?
The vacuum booster pump is a cavity with a large diameter. The vacuum booster pump is mainly composed of the pump body, rotor, slider, pump cover, gear, sealing ring and other parts.
A diaphragm (or piston) with a push rod in the middle divides the chamber into two parts, one part is communicated with the atmosphere, the other part is connected with the engine intake pipe.
It uses the principle that the engine inhales air when working to create a vacuum on one side of the booster and a pressure difference between the normal air pressure on the other side. This pressure difference is used to strengthen the braking thrust.
