What does the oil control valve do?
Oil pressure control valve, also known as OCV valve, is mainly used for cvvt engine, the function is to control oil into the cvvt advance oil chamber or delay oil chamber by moving the ocv valve to provide oil pressure to make the camshaft move at a fixed Angle so as to start. The function of the oil control valve is to regulate and prevent excessive pressure in the engine lubrication system.
Oil control valve consists of two main components: body assembly and actuator assembly (or actuator system), divided into four series: single-seat series control valve, two-seat series control valve, sleeve series control valve and self-reliant series control valve.
Variations of the four types of valves can result in a large number of different applicable structures, each with its own specific applications, characteristics, advantages and disadvantages. Some control valves have a wider range of operating conditions than others, but control valves are not suitable for all operating conditions to jointly build the best solution to enhance performance and reduce cost.
