Why is there only one rear fog lamp?
There is a scientific case for having only one rear fog light, which is mounted on the driver's side, to make the car safer to drive. According to the regulations on the installation of car headlights, one rear fog lamp should be installed, while there is no mandatory regulation on the installation of front fog lamps. If there is one, the front fog lamp must be two. In order to control the cost, some low-end models can cancel the front fog lamp and install only one rear fog lamp. Therefore, compared with two rear fog lamps, one rear fog lamp can improve the attention of the rear vehicle. The position of the rear fog lamp installed is very similar to that of the brake lamp, which is easy to confuse the two kinds of headlights and cause safety accidents. Therefore, only one fog lamp is actually a better reflection of the safety of the car.
