As an ideal tail lamp, it shall have the following characteristics:
(1) High luminous intensity and reasonable light intensity distribution;
(2) Fast luminous rise front time;
(3) Long life, maintenance free, low energy consumption;
(4) Strong switch durability;
(5) Good vibration and impact resistance.
At present, the light sources used in automobile tail lights are mainly incandescent lamps. In addition, some new light sources have emerged, such as light emitting diode (LED) and neon lights.
