What are the fuel injector components
The injector is mainly composed of the following core components :
electromagnet assembly : including coil, core, chamber, electric connector and tight cap and other parts, generate electromagnetic force when powered on, attract the armature tray to move up, control the nozzle needle valve .
armature assembly : by the bit core, armature disc, guide mechanism, cushion gasket, valve ball and support seat, etc., moving up and down under the action of electromagnetic force, is the key parts of control injection .
valve assembly : composed of a seat and a ball valve with a matching clearance of only 3 to 6 microns, responsible for oil return control .
injector body : contains high and low pressure oil passage, as the main pressure parts .
oil nozzle couple : composed of needle valve and needle valve body, responsible for accurate injection of fuel into the combustion chamber, is the key component of accurate injection and oil mist formation .
In addition, the injector includes an oil supply unit, a gas supply unit and a control unit to ensure accurate fuel injection and efficient combustion 4. The fuel supply unit is composed of an oil tank, a gasoline pump, a gasoline filter, a pressure regulator and an injector. The gasoline pump draws the gasoline from the oil tank, filters it through the filter and supplies it to the injector .
The injector is mainly composed of the following five components: electromagnet assembly, armature assembly, valve assembly, injector body and nozzle couple.
Injector installation position Generally, the injector is installed near the air intake of the automobile engine, that is, it is installed on the cylinder block of direct injection in the cylinder. The injector is actually a simple solenoid valve. The electromagnetic coil is energized, suction is generated, the needle valve is sucked up, and the spray hole is opened.
For direct injection engines, the injector is mounted on the side of the cylinder head, directly on the cylinder head.
Some car engines have nozzles on the intake manifold and some car engines have nozzles on the cylinder head. Some cars have two sets of injectors, one on the intake manifold and the other on the cylinder head. The location of the injector depends on the injection mode used by the engine.
If the engine uses multi-point out-of-cylinder injection. The injector is located at the inlet pipe near the inlet valve. If the engine uses in-cylinder injection. Then the injector is installed at the cylinder head.
An engine generally consists of three parts. Each section is self-contained and connected by bolts. The bottom is the crankcase, the middle is the engine block, and the top is the cylinder head.
The nozzle is generally installed on the intake branch pipe on the cylinder directly injected cylinder body. The gasoline nozzle is a part of the electronic control system of the gasoline engine, replacing the carburetor of the carburetor type gasoline engine. The main nozzles for cars are: diesel nozzles, gasoline nozzles, natural gas nozzles, etc. Now some foreign manufacturers can manufacture hydrogen special nozzles.
