Where is the MAXUS reverse radar controller?
The MAXUS reverse radar controller is typically located in the rear seat area of the vehicle, next to the trunk. This configuration is designed to assist the driver in sensing obstacles while reversing, improving driving safety. The reversing radar system is mainly composed of ultrasonic sensors, controllers and display equipment, among which the control box is installed in the rear seat area of the vehicle, next to the trunk, in order to monitor and manage the operation of the radar sensor. In addition, the control module of the reversing radar has three wiring areas, namely the power supply, the horn and the radar detector, which need to be properly connected to ensure the normal operation of the system. The reverse radar uses the principle that bats fly at high speed in the dark without colliding with any obstacles, and informs the driver of the surrounding obstacles through sound or more intuitive displays, thus improving the safety of driving.
Does MAXUS back-up radar have a switch?
MAXUS reverse radar has no switch. When the vehicle is put into reverse gear, the reversing radar will automatically turn on, inform the owner of the surrounding obstacles through sound or visual display, and help the owner avoid collision when parking and reversing. While the position of the reverse radar switch may vary from vehicle to vehicle, the reverse radar systems of most modern vehicles are designed to automatically activate when mounted into reverse, eliminating the need to manually operate the switch .
The steps to remove the astern radar are roughly the same and mainly involve the following steps:
Remove rear bumper . First, the screws at the rear of the chassis need to be removed to remove the rear bumper. This is to allow access to the back-up radar probe and associated cables.
Locate and remove the astern radar probe . Once the rear bumper is removed, the reverse radar probe can be located. Then, gently push the radar probe outward from the inside of the bumper to free it from the bumper. During operation, avoid pulling hard to avoid damaging the radar probe or bumper.
Dispose of cables and wires . During the disassembly process, you also need to deal with the astern radar's cables and wires. Use a rag to remove dust and dirt from the cable, and then cut the cable connector directly. Perform this step with care to avoid damaging cables or wires.
The process of installing a back-up radar includes the following steps:
Select the installation location . Install radar probes at four selected locations on the rear of the vehicle using the measurement tool. Use measurement tools to accurately measure and mark the installation position of the probe.
Drilling . Prepare the electric drill and special drill bit, and drill the hole at the previously marked position. This step is to prepare for the installation of the radar probe.
Install the radar probe . Align the drilled hole with the installation position of the radar probe, and then secure the radar probe in the drill hole. Ensure that each probe is securely installed and that it works properly.
During the entire process, care needs to be taken to keep it clean and avoid damaging the radar probe or the body. If you are not sure how to operate, seek professional help .
