Due to the high viscosity of the engine oil itself and the high content of impurities in the engine oil, in order to improve the filtration efficiency, the engine oil filter generally has three levels: engine oil collector, engine oil primary filter and engine oil secondary filter. The filter collector is installed in the oil pan in front of the oil pump and generally adopts the metal filter screen type. The primary oil filter is installed behind the oil pump and connected in series with the main oil passage. It mainly includes metal scraper, sawdust filter element and microporous filter paper. The oil fine filter is installed behind the oil pump and connected in parallel with the main oil passage, mainly including microporous filter paper type and rotor type.
