Modification of brakes

The biggest factor that affects the stability of the brake is the smoothness of the surface of the brake disc or drum, which is often caused by abnormal or unbalanced brakes. For disc braking systems, there must be no wear grooves or grooves on the surface, and the left and right discs must be the same thickness in order to achieve the same distribution of braking force, and the discs must be protected from lateral impact. The balance of the disc and brake drum can also seriously affect the balance of the wheel, so if you want excellent wheel balance, sometimes you have to put the dynamic balance of the tire.
Brake oil
The most basic modification of the brake system is to change the high-performance brake fluid. When the brake oil deteriorates due to high temperature or absorbs moisture from the air, it will cause the boiling point of the brake oil to decrease. Boiling brake fluid can cause the brake pedal to empty, which can happen suddenly during heavy, frequent and continuous brake use. Boiling of brake fluid is the biggest problem faced by brake systems. The brakes must be replaced regularly, and the bottle should be sealed properly when stored after opening to avoid the moisture in the air from contacting the brake oil. Some car types restrict the brand of brake oil to be used. Because some brake oil can erode rubber products, it is necessary to consult the warning in the user's manual to avoid misuse, especially when using brake oil containing silicone. It is even more important not to mix different brake fluids. Brake oil should be changed at least once a year for general road cars and after every race for racing cars.
