How to install the wiper motor
The first step is to prepare tools. One original Valeo motor, wrench or socket, pliers (clamp), large grease (lubrication). The second step is to park the car in an open place (preferably cool the car to avoid accidentally touching the hot hand in the engine compartment), open the hood and disconnect the negative pole of the power supply. Before I read other people's posts, I only introduced how to disconnect the negative pole, but I didn't say how to disconnect it. I really figured it out for a long time. First of all, just get started. The battery has a voltage of less than 14V and will not die. In fact, when the key is pulled out, it will not be powered on. In addition, the negative electrode should be put aside after being lifted up. It is best to separate it with an insulating object, otherwise it may come into contact again due to elasticity or toughness. Because I didn't know how to break the negative pole at first, I screwed all the screws off. In fact, it's totally unnecessary. I despise myself here.
Step 3: remove the cap on the wiper arm head (pick it by hand or pry it off with an iron sheet), and unscrew the screw counterclockwise. Remove the wiper arm.
Step 4: remove the rubber strip at the corresponding position in front of the driver's seat. See the figure for the specific position. The connection between the rubber strip and the car is stuck with six buckles. For the third, fourth, fifth and sixth, clamp the lower head with pliers and pull it out. The two on the edge are difficult to get. If the pliers can't go down, you have to use ingenuity, shake left and right and pull it out slowly.
Step 5: remove the mesh cover plate above the wiper motor. This is easy. The difficulty is that there is a plastic expansion screw on the side. I have to pull it out while screwing it. I didn't know at first. I screwed it with a screwdriver and didn't pull it out. Later, I accidentally straightened it out.
Step 6: the motor assembly is displayed in front of you, and the relevant screws can be removed.
Step 7: remove the motor from the coupling rod and replace it with a new one. By the way, grease the coupling rod. After three years, some parts have been ground very fine.
Step 8: preliminary installation, power on test, no problem. goon! Step 9: install all other parts. Finish your homework and pose for victory!
